"Uncle Elephant" is a lovely book. Although it is a level 2 "I can read' book, it also works well for story time with younger children. My 3-year old and I enjoy reading it together. We're big fans of Arnold Lobel. If you like 'Uncle Elephant' you should check out his other books including "Frog and Toad" and "Grasshopper on the Road"/5(90).
